As I will be lucky enough to be spending some time in Sharm this summer, I will try to keep you updated with the water conditions and sightings of note.
To start you off, I have been told by reliable sources that the water is now 24-25degC. There have been sightings of Whitetip sharks all winter, but last week was the first sighting of a Hammerhead at the back of Jackson. Also, there have been sightings of Mantas at the local sights and not all of them from in the water (Eric).
I will be keeping this topic locked, so it will be easier for everyone to follow. Hopefully this will make it a good reference for all those waiting to come out on their next trip. |

| Vis is a little down at the moment, due to the wind being quite strong and blowing sand into the sea. |

Ok, latest on the water temp is 23.7degC. Still windy out there, so a little cold when you get out. I'd recommend a 5mm full for now. Eagle rays and Mantas have been seen at the Gardens the last 2 days. |

Water temp. is into the 24's. People still seeing Mantas at the local sights. Heard mention of a Whale shark sighting, but not sure of the source. There have been several Leopard shark sightings/ Air temp. is nicely into the 30's, bring a hat. |
